An imposing English, 19th century,
polished brass, Doric column lamp.
The lamp on a square, stepped base,
the column rising from a Roman altar to victory,
the four sides of the altar base affixed with laurel wreaths.
The column terminating in a Doric squared capital.
The lamp with a custom handmade, Italian silk shade,
fitted with a gilded laurel wreath finial.
This is a solid cast lamp in classic style of first class quality.
