A vintage copy of a Samson of Paris copy of a Chinese export table lamp!
By the 1920’s the demand for Samson of Paris porcelain was met by other
French manufacturers who reproduced copies of
Samson’s 19th century Chinese export reproductions.
This table lamp was made by one such French factory.
It was made as a vase shaped table lamp.
It is unusual to find examples of this type.
The lamp decorated in typical Samson Chinese export style
with a border of pink scale diaper and bouquets of
oriental summer flowers.
An unusual and very pretty vintage lamp.
