The lamp delicately enamelled in cloisonne manner.
The enamel palette of pastel colours including
a fine turquoise and soft gilding.
The decoration with strong elements of the contemporary
French Longwy and Belgian Boch Freres ceramics.
The lamp with a gilded bronze Deco style cap,
the maple wood base of square stepped Deco design,
water gilded to a satin finish.
Japan had a very strong Art Deco influence throughout
the 1920s/early 1930s.
